As soon as you enter the restaurant you will be delighted by one of the most unique and satisfying smell of the kitchen of our house. Under the fireplace, placed on the grill over the coals, we'll be cooking the meat which with pleasure we’re going to serve you.
What a good start ...
Menu we offer at il Poggio is based on the traditional tastes of our area, homemade pasta specialties such as tortellini (of course), tortelloni, tagliatelle, lasagna, but we’d also like to get off the beaten paths, where tradition itself is intertwined with the inventiveness of Chef Angelo creating something special.

All the pasta that you will enjoy at il Poggio is strictly homemade, the dough is pulled every day with a wooden rolling pin, just like in the past and almost all of what we will be serving you is grown and produced by us.

You can choose from a la carte menu and occasionally we’ll have the pleasure to offer you some tasting menus which offer more limited in choice, but certainly full of our unmistakable taste.

Fusilli with cherry tomatoes, basil and parmesan chips
Tagliatelle with grilled vegetables
Gnocchetti (small dumplings), corn and nettle herb with olive “extravergine” oil

Second courses Chicken fillets with fresh vegetables, green apple and strawberry
Prosciutto rolls, with cheese and asparagus
Deserts Melon with ice cream and chocolate chips
Fresh fruit pie

Starters Crescentine with wild radish, parmesan and spicy bacon
Mountain salami with mushroom salad and rucola
Pasta, first courses Potatoes and chestnuts gnocchi (dumplings), butter, sage and pine nuts
Pumpkin risotto with porcini mushrooms
Pappardelle with wild boar sauce
Second courses Loin of mutton with balsamic vinegar
Grilled meat and vegetables
Deserts Pancakes with ricotta and honey
Custard tart with melted hot chocolate

Price € 25 per person, one dish of your choice for each course, water and house wine included.

Homemade cake

A good meal is not complete unless accompanied by an equally good glass of wine, in addition to the wines of our area, still excellent, some labels from other latitudes will be part of our offer.
And after dinner, why not a Caribbean rum, a good alternative to our traditional homemade limoncello and nocino?

The area of the restaurant, completely revised, can accommodate up to 80 people, in summer season we can also accommodate our guests in the fresh Veranda, and the city's sultry evenings will be a distant memory.
